Anne Waddell is well-known for her equine art. Thoroughbred racing, racehorses and horses are her main focus. Consequently, her beautiful equine drawings and paintings reflect her love and intimate knowledge of horse anatomy and movement. She uses the low light of sunrise or sunset to highlight their musculature and intelligent heads. Princess Rooney won the 1984 Breeder’s Cup.
